Mark DeRouen and Theron Baker recently made a trip to Harding University to interview for Summer 2010 intern audit went extremely well. They arrived in front of the snow storm and enjoyed pretty good weather until the day they left for home. The interview schedule for Thursday was full and extended into the evening hours, with the final interview on Friday morning. The recruiting center at Harding provides an excellent service to congregations within the brotherhood that are seeking interns and to students that are seeking summer opportunities to serve the youth in the church. The event is well prepared and organized and has gone off for us with out a hitch now 3 years in a row. There were 40 congregations represented that day and about 230 interviews conducted from what they understand. They interviewed 12 enthusiastic students with varied backgrounds and skills. Our male intern, Andrew Gresham is from Memphis, Tn. and our female intern, Maggie Rothe is from Jonesboro, Ark. Both will be here around the 26th of May.
